Home visits and falls responseLaunching June 2027

A paramedic who comes to you.

For Eviqa Health and Guardian members in South Devon. When someone has had a fall and can't get up, or needs to be seen at home, an Eviqa paramedic comes out, assesses them and makes a plan.

How it works

  1. You call for help

From the Guardian pendant, or by contacting Eviqa Health from the app.

  2. A clinician assesses over the phone or video

They check for anything that needs 999, and decide whether a visit is the right next step.

  3. A paramedic comes out

They assess the person, help them up safely and look for the reason they fell.

  4. We update the people who matter

The person's GP and family are updated, and their care is reviewed.

In real life

Help after a fall at home

  1. She is not badly hurt, but she cannot get up.
  2. Instead of a long wait on the floor, an Eviqa paramedic comes to her.
  3. He helps her up safely and looks at why she fell.
  4. Her GP and family are kept in the loop.

Back on her feet, and back to her day.

Examples are illustrations of how the service works, not real cases.
