Children's complex careOpening April 2027

Care at home for children with complex health needs.

For children aged 3 and over, at home, wherever home is. Carers trained for your child alone, so you can sleep, work and be a parent again.

How it works

  1. We get to know your child

Their routines, what they love, what upsets them, and what a good day looks like for your family.

  2. We plan the clinical side with you

With your child's nurses and doctors, we agree the care plan, the risks and how we escalate if things change.

  3. Carers are trained for your child alone

No carer carries out a clinical task until they have been trained, observed and signed off for your child.

  4. Care that fits family life

Before school, after school and overnight, with the same small team.

The care we provide

We explain every clinical term, and we never use one without checking you are happy with the plan.

Tube feeding

PEG and RIG feeding, where food and medicines go through a tube into the stomach.

Epilepsy and rescue medication

Watching for seizures, giving rescue medication when it is prescribed, and keeping clear records.

Breathing support

Tracheostomy care (a breathing tube in the neck), suction, oxygen and ventilation at home.

Nights

Waking nights so you can sleep, knowing someone trained is with your child.

Around school

Support before and after school, working alongside your child's school and health team.

Support for the whole family

Families can also join Eviqa Health for night-time questions about anyone in the household.

About Eviqa Health

In real life

Helping a young family get their evenings back

  1. Their daughter has tube feeding and epilepsy.
  2. Her carers are trained in her feeding and rescue medication, for her alone.
  3. Support around the school day, and through the night.
  4. Eviqa Health is there for questions at 2am.

Time to rest, and to just be parents.

Examples are illustrations of how the service works, not real cases.
