Every package has a named clinical lead and a clear escalation route day and night. A paramedic leads safeguarding, risk and escalation, and is on call whenever our staff are working.
Every carer is trained and signed off for that person's tasks before they work alone, and the competency records are available on request. Incidents are recorded the same day, reviewed clinically and shared with you, with the duty of candour.
We support children aged 3 and over, young people and adults across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, so there is no hand-off at 18. How we govern ourselves.
Common questions
How quickly will you respond to a referral?
We call you back within 1 working day to talk it through, and arrange a clinical assessment within 3 working days of that call.
Which areas do you cover?
Devon, Cornwall and Somerset, with local pages for Exeter and Mid Devon, Newton Abbot, Torbay, Plymouth, North Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Somewhere else? Talk to us anyway: the care follows the person.
How can support be funded?
Personal injury and Court of Protection, NHS continuing healthcare including fast-track, personal health budgets and direct payments, local authority spot purchase, schools and SEND teams, and families paying privately. Every package is priced individually, after a free clinical assessment.
Can I send medical details by email?
Please don't include detailed medical information in a first email. We'll arrange a secure way to share it.
Do you have a referral pack?
Our referral pack, with our service description, clinical governance and what to expect at assessment, is being finalised. Ask us for a copy at referrals@eviqa.health.
