Eviqa Complex Care

Support work for complex needs

Reliable, consistent support workers for children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, autism, brain injury or mental health needs. Led by a paramedic.

Please don't include detailed medical information in a first email. We'll arrange a secure way to share it.

About this service

Our support workers spend proper time with one person. That might be a few hours a week to get out into the community, regular sessions to build confidence and independence, or a bigger package that gives a family and a social care team the steady support they have been looking for.

We match a small, consistent team to each person, so they see the same faces and the people around them know who is coming. A paramedic leads every package, sets the risk plan and is on call whenever our staff are working.

We work with children's and adults' social care, SEND and inclusion teams, the NHS and families who manage their own budgets. You get clear records of every shift, so you can see what happened and what difference it is making.

What this looks like

  • Community activities, days out, appointments and social time
  • Building independent living skills at home and out and about
  • Support to try new things, at the person's pace
  • Steady, calm support when things get hard
  • A small team who know the person, working regular sessions

Why teams use us

Support you can rely on, led by a clinician, with records you can see.

Clinical leadership

A paramedic leads safeguarding, risk and escalation, and is on call whenever our staff are working.

Records you can rely on

Every shift, incident and concern is recorded digitally, with progress summaries for the people who commission the support.

One provider, children to adults

We support children, young people and adults, from 14 to 25 and beyond, so there is no hand-off at 18.

Safer recruitment

Enhanced DBS with barred list checks on the Update Service, references, and an induction before any shift.

How it works

From referral to the first shift, with everything agreed in writing.

  1. Refer

Tell us about the person, the support and the hours, using the referral form or by email.

  2. Screen

We review every referral the same working day and come back to you with questions or next steps.

  3. Confirm in writing

We agree the support, the staff and the start date with you in writing before anything begins.

  4. Report

You get records of every shift and regular progress summaries, and we flag concerns straight away.

Common questions

How quickly can support start?

We screen every referral the same working day. Once we have agreed the support and matched the team, we confirm the start date with you in writing. For short-notice needs, see our emergency cover page.

Do you provide personal care?

Not as part of support work. Our support work does not include personal care, medicines or healthcare tasks. If someone needs those, talk to us about a complex care package: it starts with an assessment with our clinical lead.

Can you support children and adults?

Yes. We support children, young people and adults, including young people moving into adult services, so the same team can stay involved.
